• There might be a misconception that I love everything Mexican or that I have to. I don't, there's plenty of Mexican shit I can't stand but have decided not to post about... until now. It's a real issue and as time goes by I can't help but be bothered by it. For the most part, Univision has nothing that interests me enough to watch but it sure does have it's fair share of programming abomonations. None comes to mind faster and none boils my blood in irritation than "Cero en Conducta" or as I usually refer it as "La Escuelita".

 • After spending most of the first episode documenting crew incompetence, the show finally shows us the first encounter with the Japanese whalers in episode 2. First, the recap of episode 1.

Shut the fuck up broad, we've never seen you and never will see you again. Go back to the kitchen. FYI I'm not sexist, Paul Slothson is and that's where he keeps the women. Anyway, moving on... As the Shepards approach the whalers we have Rat Boy aka Peter Hammarstedt, or "Peter Hamster", telling us that although the Japanese have their own way of doing things the Shepards are the ones that have the non-violent tactics. Stink bombs, for example. "They are really stinky" as an astute deck hand describes them. They're approaching a Japanese boat and are thinking of ways they can attack it.

 • As the episode begins we are introduced to the Sea Shepards, one by one they begin to explain their distaste for the Japanese whaling fleet. The footage shows the Shepards getting closer to the whaling ship while the Japanese automated voice warning system tells them to back up and stop their aggressive action. Ignoring the suggestion, the Shepards begin hurling butiric acid bottles onto Japanese decks. The Japanese crew responds by throwing.... flashbangs. Sweet poetic justice. Advantage: Japanese Whalers.
