I had been wondering exactly what Steven Segal has been teaching Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida and I have found an example. Here he’s teaching Silva a punch deflection technique which I always thought was bullshit but Segal actually makes it look practical. Too practical.
Segal talks to him like a strict ass teacher. I wondered if Silva was going easy on him as if he just had to go through the motions of trying to hit him without actually trying to do it. Obviously Segal got pissed and I laughed when he did his trademark wrist twist and crippled Silva. Fool’s no joke, they should have Segal fight Cro Cop

you can tell anderson wasnt going 100% & segal knew what was coming, i still dont think that would work in a fight against a high level fighter.
